Oklahoma Laborfest

Oklahoma Laborfest 2010, a public celebration of Oklahoma's working class culture and labor history, will be held in the Plaza District at NW 16th and Indiana Avenue in Oklahoma City, Saturday, August 28th.

Roxanne will be part of the opening panel discussing the role of labor in changing the reactionary political climate in Oklahoma and the history of radical socialism in the state during the early 20th century:

Roxanne will host a writing workshop in the afternoon, discussing the bare bones of memoir writing. Participants will have the opportunity to identify "write-able" moments from their working lives and develop them in writing exercises during the workshop.
